Everybody suffered
trauma at birth. It is just a question of degree. The shift from a
liquid to an atmospheric environment is itself traumatic enough. Other
factors that contribute to birth trauma are contractions in the womb,
being expelled from the womb itself with no end in sight, the use of
forceps crushing the head, bright lights to the sensitive newborn,
rough handling by doctors and nurses, separation from the mother, being
held upside down and smacked to start the first breath, premature
cutting of the umbilical cord, and on and on and on.
Our breathing is constricted at our first breath, and we make
unconscious negative decisions about life at the time of our birth.
With Breakthrough Breathwork the breathing is opened up again and the
negative thinking
is reversed.
Unless a mother works on healing the trauma from her own birth, she
will pass it on to her baby. It is crucial that mothers-to-be heal
their birth trauma so that the birth of their child will be easier and
more joyful.
Likewise, doctors, nurses and midwives will be able to facilitate
delivery of babies in a clearer and more loving way once they are no
longer triggered at each birth by their own birth trauma.
Breakthrough Breathwork often takes people back to the time of their
birth so that the trauma associated with their birth can be released
and healed.
